The town of Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci and the surrounding areas have been shaped over time according to the various ways of life, gaining character and extraordinary beauty.

The surrounding area of Bolgheri is characterized as a one of a kind territory, with a mild climate, due to the nearby sea and the protection of the wooded hills in the background; the reason the wine is of such great quality.

The farm Vincenzo di Vaira, deepens its roots in 50 hectares of land, that sits at sea level,on the wine road that leads to Castagneto Carducci and to Bolgheri. A hundred kilograms of grapes are actually gathered by hand facing east-west, obtaining at maturation a premium product. The grapes are artisan and manually worked, with modern wine techniques.

The company produces a Doc Bolgheri Red Superior wine called Bolgherese, three types of Doc Bolgheri wine, red, vermentino and rose, named Caccia al Palazzo, and an IGT Toscana red wine named Le Ballerine, all intended to be marketed in 0,75 cl bottles, after ageing in steel tanks.
